Studio
The studio is located on a hilltop with panoramic views in Wrentham, MA and is surrounded by acres of farmland, hiking trails, and apple orchards. The perfect place for hiding out in the studio making a record.
Check out our toys... I mean gear. Our engineers really know how to use it too. After all, the gear is nothing without a skilled engineer. Too often, we've heard albums that were recorded in the nicest studios with top of the line equipment that sounded terrible. Don't make that mistake. Call us today.
We also work exclusivley with Power Station to bring you that major label sound. Read on below.
Power Station
Want to record in the same room where Eric Clapton, Norah Jones, John Mayer, Franz Ferdinand, Sheryl Crow, Trey Anastasio, Peter Cincotti, Elvis Costello, Donald Fagen, Herbie Hancock, Diana Krall and many others did? Brian Sargent is their first call engineer and has access to this room anytime. Power Station New England is the twin brother of the world famous Power Station in NYC (now Avatar) built by Toni Bogiovi.
Considered one of the greatest recording rooms in the world, the legendary Studio A is based around a custom Neve VR 72 with Flying Faders. The room is a large, ambient, three-way modular tracking room with two smaller isolation booths to the side. The room can accommodate up to 65 musicians. The live room is approximately 48 feet wide by 52 feet long, with a ceiling height of 35 feet at its highest point (2,496 square feet). The studio includes a large private lounge and producer's desk with cable TV, VCR/DVD player, a microwave, and fresh coffee.
Vintage Neumann U47s, U67s, and plenty of other well known mics inhabit the microphone locker here. There is also a beautiful Yamaha Grand Piano, a vintage Hammond B3 Organ modified by Goff with a Leslie Cabinet, and a number of guitar amps like Mesa Boogie, Marshall, Fender, Roland, and Ampeg.
